They include Hot Dogs, Bacon, Sausage and Deli meats, including Deliham, Turkey, Bologna and Chicken. Long term observational studies have found that the worst types of meats for the heart are the processed meats. The high level of salt and other preservatives may endanger the heart.
  2. Highly Refined Carbohydrates: Students have shown that whole grain intake should be preferred in place refined carbohydrates like potatoes and white rice. This endangers a lower risk of heart diseases, diabetes and possibly stroke. This makes sense considering the fact that whole grains lower blood pressure and cholesterol.

Refined and processed foods include: White bread, White rice, low fibre breakfast cereals, sugar and some other sweetener. If these entire food intakes can be put in check, one lives a healthy life.
